Adopt a American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed

Hi everyone, my name's Barkley, and yes, I can be vocal at times, so I think my name fits me! Well since you're here to learn about me let's get started. Well for starters, I'm a fun-loving, happy go lucky, goofball, that's looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around, has a great sense of humor, and plenty of time to spend with me. I would really love to find a home that had lots of kiddos that I could run around and play, because I sure loved my human boy in my last home. In my previous home, I spent a lot of time outside, and I'm not sure if I know what the inside of a home even looks like. I was brought into CHHS by ACO because I didn't have adequate shelter when the weather was getting down into the single digits. So with everything that's happened in my past, I'm definitely ready to find a forever stable home I can call my own. I still have quite a bit of energy, and love to act like a big kid by running, playing, and just adventuring around to burn off some of my extra energy. When it starts getting warmer again outside, I would really like it if one of my human friends would be willing to take me on walks on a daily basis. That way I can get out and really stretch out my legs, and I can also flaunt and strut my handsome self off. I haven't had a whole lot of training in my past, and could really use some help from human friends working on house training if I'm going to be an inside dog, to work on leash manners, and help learning some of the basic commands and manners. When I've met other dogs here at CHHS, I've done okay with them. So if you have other pups at please bring them up so we can get acquainted with one another.
